Hi, I recently updated my lenovo laptop from dos to windows 10, but after this lenovo logo which appears after going to properties from my computer is missing, and also OEM information is empty from registration directry. In the Programs and Features window, click Turn Windows features on or off. Juniper vmx qcow2. In the Windows Features window, expand the Device Lockdown node, and check or clear the checkbox for Unbranded Boot. The Windows Features window indicates Windows is searching for required files and displays a progress bar. Once found, the window indicates. Final fantasy tactics squire. My PC configuration is this- Intel i3, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB disk. I recently bought Windows 8 Pro (64 bit) OEM from a re-seller on Amazon. The product key is with the disk. When I try to install using this disk I face below issue- Boot from DVD drive where the OEM disk is inserted PC starts with blue Windows 8 logo. I followed a guid for oembranding in Windows 8 and hoped, it will work also in Windows 8.1. I made a couple of images in different resolution und named them after the scheme: backgroundWidthxHeight.jpg + one as backgroundDefault.jpg, for the rare cases of a non-available resolution. Change the system logo with a custom image and modify the OEM information in just seconds with this lightweight and portable application System Brand Changer is a lightweight and portable. My friend's Lenovo laptop does this as well - I know Dell and most other OEM computers do this too since I deal with them at work, but the Asus logo is just ugly. It's all gradienty and has some dumb slogan. It's a bummer too, since I don't mind a 'flat' Asus logo just doesn't match the whole Windows 8 concept you know?
Anyway I did search for it but found no meaningful info.
If anybody here knows, would be great.
Thanks!

Change the administrator user on Windows 8.1 and 10! You can do this via the User Account Control in Windows 8.1, 10 and MS Server Control Panel.Or if you just start the MS Explorer hot key [Windows + E] and in the address bar [ALT + D] enter the the address: Control PanelAll Control Panel ItemsUser AccountsManage Accounts Or, open the Windows 8.1 or in Windows 10 Control Panel and click on (open) Manage accounts. The best and fastest way: 1. Use hot-key [Windows + R] and command control.exe nusrmgr.cpl 2. And click on the text 'Manage another account' (.. see Image-1 Point 1 and 2) See also: ► auto login without password ► Manage Users in Windows-8 ► enable system-administrator account
In 'Manage Accounts' Window click on new Administrator for example Markus (See Image-3 Point 1).
And now click in the Window 'Change an Account' the text 'Change the account type' (see Image 4 Point 1)
The last step Change Account type (e.g. Markus), to the Administrator (see Image-5 Arrow-1).
It is easy to switch the standard user to administrator account for admin rights and access privileges! Info Microsoft (c): Whether you sign in to your PC with an email address (to access your Microsoft account) or a user name and password, for everyday tasks, it's best to use a standard account. A standard account can help prevent people from making critical changes, such as deleting files that are required for the PC to work. You can create a standard account for each person who uses your PC. When you're signed in with a standard account, you can do almost anything that you can do with an administrator account. But if you want to do something that affects other people using the PC, such as installing software or changing security settings, you might be asked to enter a password for an administrator account.
